In this evening presentation, Dashi will explain how the lack of adequate daily exercise and repetitive motion stress can lead to injury, pain and disability. Then we will practice her original routine of Posturcize, 15-minutes of easy-to-learn movements set to music that stretch and revitalize all parts of the upper body, her standing chair routine, and floor routine for relief of low back pain. Dashi will also show you how to walk, stand, sit and work, so that your joints can function freely, with a minimum of wear and tear on your soft tissues. Effective in the prevention and treatment of stress, muscular tension, stiff joints and fatigue while helping to prevent carpal tunnel pain, repetitive motion trauma, and painful conditions such as bursitits, tendinitis, tennis elbow and joint pain.
Come prepared to move and have fun, and bring a towel for the floor routine. Dashi’s 2-part DVDs/videos will be available at workshop. Especially valuable for keyboard operators, musicians, health professionals.
